55 Fiction: The orphan

Orphan on pavementLike thorns, the cold November winds pierced the little lad, sitting curled up on the pavement, and covered by a self-stitched blanket made of cement bags.

He was an orphan, who sold scrap plastic bottles. Today, he did not find a half-filled Pepsi bottle in the dustbin. He realized he would have to sleep hungry.
